Loreto Grammar School is an 11-18 Roman Catholic Grammar School for Girls with Academy status located in Altrincham, in the Borough of Trafford. It is a thriving, successful and over-subscribed school, judged as “Outstanding” by Ofsted in September 2022 and by the Diocese of Shrewsbury.  We are proud to have been named as the North West Secondary School of the Year 2025.  Loreto is a happy place to work.

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a colleague to join our successful English department.  The appointed candidate will be required to teach English up to and including A Level, and be an engaged and enthusiastic member as a teacher and form tutor.  We welcome applications from colleagues at all career stages, including ECT.  The successful candidate will join an established and supportive Loreto community and be expected to commit to the ethos and values of the school.
