Permanent contract with a six month probationary period

£23,893—£25,979 pro rata pa according to days and hours - points 6-11 (pay award pending)

Loreto Grammar School is an 11-18 Roman Catholic Grammar School for Girls with Academy status located in Altrincham, in the Borough of Trafford. It is a thriving, successful and over-subscribed school, judged as “Outstanding” by Ofsted in September 2022 and by the Diocese of Shrewsbury.  Loreto is a happy place to work.

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant.  This is a fairly new role to the School and offers the scope for development and to work alongside children who are willing, capable and self-motivated learners.  Experience of working with children with additional needs would be an advantage but not necessarily within a Teaching Assistant role.  The successful candidate will join the established and supportive Loreto community and will be expected to commit to the ethos and values of the school.
